Just had my Heuer Carrera Reissue returned after another stellar service experience from Duncan. The second time I've used Genesis and they are my go-to service provider. Turnaround was a week and a half, return packaging was superb with replacement plexi and seals also included. Duncan provides absolute peace of mind which I think is a major concern for a lot of people looking to have their watch serviced. For anyone dithering over where to send their watch, please just package it up and send it to Genesis and be assured that it will be worked on with a proper personal touch that I believe is missing from many of the manufacturer's service centres. Duncan is one of the 'good guys', providing an exemplary professional service and I can't recommend him highly enough.
I contacted Duncan re servicing my 2004 Omega Seamaster 2255.80 having read excellent reviews of his work on the Timefactors forums. My watch was running well out of spec and clearly needed attention and I received a same-day response to my initial enquiry. Duncan outlined the servicing process and the likely cost and we agreed full service/pressure test but no refurb/polishing but including a full ultrasonic clean. On the day of receipt of my watch Duncan sent me the initial timing data plus a link to a very useful youtube video of his explaining what the data means. Duncan confirmed when the service was complete (approx. 1 week later!), providing further timing data showing how well my watch was now running and we agreed the best date to return my watch which arrived as agreed, very well wrapped with the replaced parts included. I've had my watch back about 10 days now and in that time it has gained only 1.25 seconds per day which I'm very happy with. Suffice to say I'm very pleased with the service received from Duncan which has been prompt, helpful and professional throughout with excellent comms. I'd happily recommend Duncan and will have no hesitation in sending him my other Omega and Rolex watches when they need attention thereby avoiding the downsides of cost and timescale that seem to come with "official" service centres whilst taking comfort that Duncan is authorised to service both brands.
Just got my Rolex Datejust back after just over a week with Duncan and I cannot fault him or the service I received and I’m very critical !! Please do yourself a favour and use Genesis as they are second to none. He paid additional attention to my dial and hands now the watch is in the best condition I can remember A* service from a real gentleman

My Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean decided it needed some TLC. I had previously seen good reports on the UKGSERS forum of Duncan’s work. I made contact and received a prompt reply on the probable costs which where extremely competitive & how to send my watch to him. Once received Duncan gave me an initial assessment on the possible cause and the estimated fix time which was achieved virtually to the day. I was provided with the performance data for the accuracy of my repaired watch and a two year warranty. Through the whole process Duncan has given excellent service and I would not hesitate to recommend him or to contact him again should one of my other Omegas give any problems.
What a delight to find such a high level of service and attention to detail after following the recommendations of other satisfied clients on the WatchUseek forum. Duncan carried out a very long overdue full service and testing on my 30+ year old Omega Speedmaster 345.0808, including a replacement bracelet. His communication was informative, complete and reassuring, I was kept fully in in the picture on timings, work carried out and explanations of items required. I have no hesitation in recommending him for work to be carried out on watches of his specialist marques and will be making suitable comments to this effect elsewhere as well

I decided to go with Duncan following many recommendations from other customers and thought I'd share my experinece for anyone considering using Genesis Watchmaking. From the start Duncan was very attentive and responded to emails very quickly with plenty of information and suggestions. I sent in my Zenith El Primero New Vintage 1969 for service - Duncan notified me when the watch was received and preliminary test results, and said that the service would take about 3-4 weeks. Four weeks later and the servicing had been completed and the watch sent back to me. It runs even better now, with far greater timekeeping. I would 100% recommend Duncan @ Genesis to anyone considering using him without hesitation - not just for the actual work done, but the high level of communication and advice given, which I think is so important, bearing in mind the value of the watches.
Omega Seamaster Professional Chronometer: I've owned this watch and worn it almost daily for close to two decades, and for it now to look almost as it did the day I first received it is astonishing, and a testament to your abilities. It has had numerous services by official Omega dealers in the Far East and Middle East over this time, and none have provided anything like the level of clarity and transparency as to the processes involved, nor the quality of work. Thank you again, and I will certainly be calling on your services in the future and recommending you to friends and colleagues.
I cannot recommend Duncan enough. I sent my Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust to him because the glass was battered, the bracelet was scratched and the internals were making the worst whirring sound (my watch had a hard life)! I also wanted to change the dial and hands. This is the first time ive had my watch serviced and Duncan was there every step of the way! He serviced the watch in 3-4 weeks. The watch came back like new, better in fact, as the bracelet has never looked so good. If you're concerned about sending your watch to anyone other than Rolex, dont be (!), Duncan really knows his stuff and I wouldnt hesitate to send my watch back to him.
