I cannot speak highly enough of the superb workmanship and outstanding customer service that Duncan at Genesis Watchmaking provides. I have just received back my newly-serviced Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust - its first service the watch has had since I bought it probably 15 years ago. From the outset, the communication from Duncan has been exemplary. The 'before' and 'after' timing data figures speak for themselves - Duncan has done an amazing job! Everything about the process was explained in detail and I've been truly amazed by the difference Duncan has made to my watch. The bracelet and case look amazing and the timing data is totally transformed . I received my watch back within two weeks of sending it off and I am absolutely delighted with the result. My watch has great sentimental value, and I am glad to have found a craftsman of Duncan's calibre who can look after it for me in the future.

I am delighted to leave this feedback, as Duncan at Genesis Watchmaking provides both superb workmanship and outstanding customer service. Having read others’ glowing reports of Genesis, I contacted Duncan about servicing my Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust, having previously had this done via a local jeweller and the whole thing taking several months. From the start, the communication from Duncan was exemplary; everything about the process was explained in detail, with clear instructions and time lines given. Once I had sent off my watch, I received not only email confirmation of receipt but also regular updates as to the progress of the service. I particularly appreciated being asked whether for certain parts (e.g. the watch’s slightly discoloured face) I wanted to keep the original or have it replaced. I received my watch back just over two weeks after sending it off and I am absolutely delighted with the result. My Rolex has great sentimental value, and I am glad that for any work it needs in the future I will be able to send it to Genesis and know they will do such an excellent job.

Duncan provided a first rate service to me at Genesis Watchmaking. He serviced, refurbished and repaired my watch in double quick time all for a reasonable price. The communication with Genesis was excellent throughout the whole process. Have a gold star chaps!

My first experience of Duncan's work has been extremely satisfactory.

My wife's TAG Heuer 2000 series Professional Quartz was returned promptly (turned around in just 12 calendar days) and looks pristine (it's actually 22 years old)....if TAG Heuer had been able to supply a new bezel for it then it would look brand new !

The nice touch, I thought, was that all the replaced parts were returned to me in a small plastic bag together with the guarantee and the Poseidon pressure and vacuum test reports.

I shall certainly use Duncan's services again when my own TAG Heuer 2000 series requires attention.

I received the watch on Saturday morning. I am absolutely delighted with what has been done.
I waited a few days before confirming, as I wanted to be sure - the timekeeping is superb! It gains around 1-2 s / day in my usual wear pattern. I think that is a great testament to your skills and to the design of the watch! Thank you for spending so much time on this aspect.
I am also really pleased with how the bracelet has turned out. The re-graining is perfectly even despite the general wear to the bracelet. I was a little worried that a refurbished bracelet might not match up to an unrefurbished case, but it all works really well together. Similarly, the removal of the marks and refinishing of the caseback is perfect.
All in all, in every aspect from communications about the work to be done, documentation of the service, and packaging of the end result, I am very very pleased indeed. At some point I'll take some photos and mention all this on TZ-UK.

Congratulations to Duncan Potter at Genesis Watchmaking on providing such an excellent personal service. My Omega Automatic Chronometer left home in great need of expert treatment after well over 50 years loyal service. It had reached the stage where it had to go to sleep at night and be started up in the morning. So rigor mortis was setting in. The case was also the worse for wear, glass scratched, face tired. But a detailed quote was rapidly forthcoming and soon work started on it.
The result: a watch that looks like new and performs as hoped for. Very many thanks for such a fine restoration.

My first time using Genesis & I'm thrilled with all aspects of the service. My Tag watch had been languishing in the drawer for some years and I'm so pleased so have it back on my wrist. Duncan is the consummate professional, kept me informed at all stages of its service and repair. I highly recommend him & would not use anyone else.

I have just had my TAG Monaco brought back to life, serviced, tested and the case polished by Duncan. If only everybody in this world offered the professional, high quality level of service that Duncan does. I was kept informed all the way through, he answered my Noddy questions in a way that even I could understand, the price was real value for money, and the watch looks like it did when I got it as a present many years ago. Thanks once again Duncan.

Great service, fantastic prices, this was my first time using Genesis and I must admit I was sceptical about both the level of service claimed and the reviews given it is so much more economical than using the manufacturer. Many people advised me against using a third party and not the manufacturer, but I have always felt that the manufacturers rely on this and over charge customers and offer a poor service just because people feel obliged to use them. I wish more companies like Genesis opened up to challenge this theory and drive manufacturers prices back to reasonable levels.

Thanks so much for the excellent job restoring 1970's Omega to its former glory. Professional outfit all round with excellent attention to detail. Watch looks and performs like new.
